ROSEHAVEN offers Seminars for children to learn and experience Horsemanship. They are scheduled periodically during the calender year. Summer is the predominate season as the timing lends itself well, with children out from school.
EQUESTRIAN SEMINARS are programs where children are grouped in accordance with age/experience. It gives the child a good understanding of horse ownership and what is involved.
Activities include horsemanship, a craft session, structured riding every day, quiz bowls, learning the basics of horse health, nutrition, grooming, breeds, horse related careers, common ailments & sicknesses.
Hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday through Friday.
A snack, and drink can be brought from home to the facility each day, and every friday will be a treat of pizza and make your own sundae's, compliments of Rosehaven.
Cost for each week is $275.00 per participant.
** Family rates apply, to those families registering more than one child from the same family **
$75.00 deposit required upon registration application completion.

Our Adult seminar will be almost the same as the kids program. Basic horsemanship will be taught, as well as grooming, riding, health, nutrition, common ailments & sicknesses.
In lieu of pizza & sundaes we will end each session with an "adult" beverage, and a snack!
