Built in 1997,Rosehaven is set on a 10 acre parcel of farmland.Three to four acres occupy the Facility, the remaining acreage is hayed for the "residents" of the 14 stall barn.
We are centrally located in the state of Ct., easily accessible from all major highways.
Rose & Kevin Green operate the business along with their daughter, Lyndsi. Presently in their fourteenth year (4-01-11) in business, alot of milestones have occured and many more to come!
Rosehaven's amenities include an indoor ( 80' x 120') & outdoor (120 x120) riding arenas. Heated office, heated tack room, wash stall, with heat lamps. There are presently 4 grass paddocks and 2 sand paddocks at the facility. Cleanliness is a priority with the owners. The "Horse Environmental Distinction Award" was presented to the stable in 1999, and again in 2002 and 2005.
In Spring, the grass paddocks are closed to allow them to rest for the upcoming turnout season. They are seeded and fertilized, depending on the requirement.
White PVC fencing, along with electric tape encases the turnout areas, with chain link fence providing the perimeter of the facility. Parking area is adequate for all Rosehaven's clientele.
Kevin is a multiple business owner including Rosehaven and a Real Estate Agent.
Rose is full time Owner, Manager of Rosehaven.
Lyndsi is a full time Instructor in our lesson program, as well as assistant barn manager.
